Very Good Light
The work shown below was created during my time as a Remote Graphic Design Intern for Very Good Light, an online publication dedicated to promoting inclusivity in the beauty industry. Additionally, I began to work on icons, landing pages, and product fact sheets for their new skincare brand, Good Light, prior to its launch.
I created over 100+ graphics following brand guidelines during my time with Very Good Light between interning and contracting. Not all are being featured, but I made anything from Instagram assets and icons, Cover Stories, Article Covers, Landing Pages, Fact Sheets, GIFs, Zoom Backgrounds, Interviews and Blog posts, Infographics, Advertisements, and more!
Cover Art
This cover art was originally meant to be just a design/art test prior to my internship at Very Good Light. My boss ended up liking the design so much, he decided to use it for the next month's cover art!
My main thought process for this design was inspired by film photography, grain, and textures. I was also provided multiple images and decided to photoshop and manipulate two of them them together. I also used layer styles and blending modes to further manipulate the colors.

Social Media Assets
9x9 Instagram Teaser Grid post for "Good Light" which is the newly released skincare brand of Very Good Light. I slightly separated the assets to showcase that they were created individually to be put together flawlessly when looking at Instagram pages. The unseparated asset is below as well.
Illustrations
Vector illustrations of various products and brands that my team members at VGL would test and review. Made using Adobe Illustrator.
These illustrations would be used on blog posts, and Instagram stories, and grids.
